An "hour" in the life?

Ok. Well, yes, I know. It "should" probably be a "Day in the life..." but, let's face it, who the hell has the time to recap their whole day? Not me. First of all, my day just isn't that interesting. I suppose I could make stuff up, but I don't really have time for that either. Second of all, I want to get some vitamin D this summer and see the light of day, which means that I will not be blogging daily, and I figure I'll be lucky to share an hour of my life intermittently.

OK, now that I have that explained, I'll say that this blog is the result of an assignment. Yes, I said an assignment. One that is tied to my success in a required course to maintain my certification to teach at my institutution of higher learning (a.k.a. college). So, would I have created a blog had it not been a required assignment? Probably not. So, in the role of student I am acting just like my students and doing only what is required of me! (A-ha moment!) Although this introductory babble is not part of the assignment...I am procrastinating on the real assignment... (I feel another A-ha moment coming...)

I do think I have learned several interesting things over the last two weeks that I could put out into the ether of the internet through this blog, and maybe someone besides me will find it interesting as well. I guess we'll see about that!
